CPR Certification & First Aid Training

Take a course in CPR/AED & First Aid, together or separately.

Course Description:

CPR is a lifesaving technique that can be used to help someone who has stopped breathing or has no pulse. It is recommended to take a CPR Certification course and get CPR certification as soon as possible.

The American Heart Association (AHA) recommends that “everyone who needs it should learn CPR, and those who need it most should get hands-on training in person”.

At AIC Fundamental Medical Training located in Colorado, we offer a wide range of CPR Certifications and AED certifications that are designed to meet the needs of professionals, specializing in daycare workers. Our programs are designed to ensure that you have the knowledge and skills needed to provide emergency care.

First Aid Training is a must for every individual child or adult. It is important to know the basics of first aid and how to provide it in an emergency situation.

Our first aid training course can be organized to fit your needs or your business needs. There are many reasons why someone might need such training, but they all boil down to one thing – self-preservation.

CPR/AED and First Aid courses can be taken together or separately. Both certifications are good for 2 years in the state of Colorado. We will come to you or you can come to us, whichever is more convenient for you.

Fundraising Program

Help your children feel they can help save a life! Sign up for our Medic JR program.

Medic JR is a fundraising program in Colorado that gives children at churches, daycare centers, and other organizations an easy way to learn life saving skills. With this program, we are able to teach children how to save a life so they can feel empowered while maintaining their innocence. We can also customize it to a child’s specific needs, with the help of our Medic JR instructor.

We have created a system where the children can learn in a way that they understand. We have helped many churches and daycare centers with our fundraising program!

Bloodborne Pathogens

Our course on Bloodborne Pathogens (Standard Precautions) can give you the tools needed when you are helping save a life and blood is involved.

Bloodborne Pathogens are transmitted through contact with blood or other bodily fluids. These types of pathogens include viruses, bacteria, and parasites. Examples of bloodborne pathogens include HIV, Hepatitis B virus (HBV), Hepatitis C virus (HCV), and the human T-lymphotropic virus type I (HTLV-I).

When in contact with a bloodborne pathogen there are standard precautions that should be taken. The following is an example of how to protect yourself from exposure to these types of diseases:

– Washing hands thoroughly with soap and water or using an alcohol-based hand sanitizer after contact with blood or body fluids.

We specialize in offering these courses in Colorado daycare facilities. We can also come to any facility or house if you can not come to us. Contact us for more information.
